   I am a fine art photographer and I would like to invite you to take a step into my world.

   Take time to slow down, stop, take a breath, and explore the world around us. To see that beauty is everywhere and that we don’t need to go far to experience it. The commonplace, ordinary, and every day things that surround us have an inner beauty and the small details present a different view of the world we see every day.

   Colors, textures, and light illuminate viewpoints that may not normally be seen or that we may overlook during a busy day.

   Unfortunately, there is rarely time to look closely at a tree root, a flower, a glass, or even a common tool. Once you start taking the time to look, you will be amazed, as I was, at the details that you will see and the realization that those details will align in completely unexpected forms. You will find that the smallest item can make the most interesting picture. Something we see every day can and will become amazing and take on an entirely new life.

    By capturing macro images of everyday objects as well as creating illusions and abstracts with my photographs I hope you will find your own meaning in an image. Have fun looking and making educated guesses on what the item really is. Some are easy to figure out, while others are more difficult. Some collections include a guide to help in your explorations, if you choose to use it.
